Unlocking the Power of Words: A Journey in Storytelling Craft

The essence of language begins with words; it's where storytelling transcs from concept to creation. This April, our exploration delves into the heart of 'words' - those foundational elements that transform mere ideas into narratives.

I'm Leon Conrad, and together we'll embark on a journey where you can refine your writing skills by uncovering the intrinsic power behind words; by engaging in exercises rooted deeply within them, and most importantly, sharing our collective insights along the way.

As part of this exploration, I invite you to participate in our latest writing competition. Based on an illustration created by Carol Michelon featured in 'Words' section of Master the Art and Craft of Writing expected release 2023, your task is to construct a piece that starts and s with a 'living word'. This composition must be concise, limited to only 73 words total, and must resonate or evoke inspiration from Carol's art.

To provide some context on this month's inspiration, you can find the video which explns Carol’s artistic vision for her Words illustration as part of The Unknown Storyteller project focusing on the art and craft of storytelling.

Master the Art and Craft of Writing will delve into structuring compelling stories, guiding your creative journey towards shaping great narratives. It is set to release later this year, in the latter half of 2022.
